Cramping after Meneria IUD

Hey Ladies,

I recently had an IUD placed Oct 2017 because of heavy bleeding and cramping during periods. Since i got the IUD i've had complications due to an STI that wasn't caught before placement of the IUD but since that'd been addressed i'm health and happy.

I have a question relating to cramps. before the IUD my cramps were low and toward the labia (they felt like like they vibrated to much it hurt to do anything). Now, my cramps are really high and felt deep in the uterus. Anyone experience this? is it normal? should i see my GP again?
