Hi Paula,
I'm 4 weeks post op and I've had them on and off although they weren't very bad. The nurse mentioned it to me before I left hospital also. She said to expect pains like period pains.

Yes. No one mentioned them to me, though. I checked with my doctor at my first post-op. I also had a cramping feeling right at what is now the vaginal cuff. Those have subsided. I had my surgery in July, and those twinges are about gone now. xx

I'm 2 1/2 months post op....everything removed. I still get what feel like period cramps occasionally. In my case, I believe that it's my bowels moving through areas that feel like period pains. In my case I think it's my bowels moving through still healing areas. I still take stool softener sometimes and that helps. This is just my experience of course. Jill
