Creating my Photograph!

What a game that was! To take that photograph it took me around a hour and a half. With Generalized Dystonia controlling your body it's a case of fighting your own body. biggrin

Even that picture is blurred, because I am unable to keep my head still long enough! rolleyes

I took that picture on my iPad, on a timer so I was trying to stay in the right place before it took the picture! Why do things become so difficult, how hard can it be to take a dam photo!

Anyway, now you can put an ugly mug to the messages.

Regards,

Les.

Les, I am delighted to have your photograph. My mental image was so shadowy Yours is much clearer.

That took time George! I got it done in the end, it is a bit blurred though, but thats because I am unable to control my neck muscles (they have a mind of their own!). lol

It could be better, pehaps if my wife took it, but then I would have to her saying "Keep still!" all the time. I get that when she cuts my hair, or even shaves me. Imagine me and a cut-throat razor! eek

      Morning Milly,

You're welcome! It didn't come out properly, I should have asked my wife to take it, instead of ending up over 40 photos I couldn't use because muscle spasms in my neck keep pulling my head to one side, so with me it's a constant battle to pull it back. The trouble is the harder I try, the more my brain forces it to move.

My Consultant Neurologist says to relax and count to ten then try certain tasks, I tried that on many occasions and failed! lol

As for my face being on the internet, well it really doesn't bother me considering my daughter puts me and my wife on her facebook account which is locked down securely

I guess we build up pictures of people we speak to on here. I agree with you though, some people don't like their photos on the internet and I certainly would not ask for anyone to actually send me a photo! That to me is an invasion of privacy, and everyone as different opinions about photographs on the internet.

      Regards,

      Les.

Many  thanks for your lovely reply Les, to say about all the problems you have Les ,your photo is not at all bad.

Yes I agree sometimes we are told by the medical people to do this and to do the other ,and now always with the required results.

I agree it is an invasion of their desired privacy,I maintain it is solely down to each one ,to either post or not to post photos or indeed anything else ,we are solely in charge of what we post or not.Like you my family have photos of us in FB so while I didnt want it at first I am not too bothered about it now,I guess we get used to it .but like I said I do always prefer to see who I am chatting /posting with

      Take Care

The neutologist is right, it's called being in a sense of 'flow', when you're doing something you're enjoying and focusing on it.

Oooh hello, you're pretty cute but don't tell your wife I said that! I'd have to move. eek

I'm not good with technology and I bought a camera and it's seriously compicated and I couldn't work it so I sent it back.

LOL @ Georgia! Move, even though we have a car on the Motability Scheme.

I would be lucky to even get to Bristol or even Birmingham! I can travel short distances, long distances are well out of the question!

I dont that on an iPad with a timer!  Imagine me trying to do the same on a normal camera! My hands spasm and so does my arms and neck, gawd knows what I would take a picture of, I dread to think! loleek

I bought an iPad as a back up if my computer goes down and I miss essay deadlines. It was fautly and it's here somewhere because I was too tired to send it back! Grrrrrrr eek

I meant she might punch me for giving you a compliment so I might have to move! Lol

I am sure sellers reply on inertia to make lots of doff sales stick. The hassle of sending them back is just too much trouble.

The only photo I have of me that I can post is 11 years old and that feels like a bit of con. George and Annie had to face what I look like now, I don't know how they coped but they seem to be doing alright so they must have found the antidote. cheesygrin

Hi Les, we swopped glasses, put on two pairs of dark glasses each and turned out the light. No problem at all.

      -----

We loved Georgia even more - no problems even if she rides a powerful engine on two wheels and Annie and I sit up straight amidst four wheels and a tin lid above.

George you forgot to mention that you had to put a hood over my face! lol

I love George and Annie more too!

11 years old, awww a cutie were you back then?

I had to laugh last night, our neighbour come around, and all her kids are grown up now.

Anyway, my Wife said to our daughter a few weeks ago, please take these medications to our neighbour. So, off she went!

She noticed she was out the back with one of her sons and his children, my daughter said I brought these around for you, and she gave them to our neighbour.

Back to last night, our neighbour said you remember that day you sent your daughter around with those medications for me? My wife said yes, our neighbour said "Well, my son said who was that? She is well FIT!!!" His mum shouted at him... "YOU ARE 30!!! and she is only 14 years old!!" he said "OMG, she doesn't look it and really pretty!" Then his mum said "You know who she is anyway!" he said "Who?".

Remember Jess from next door! He said "No way, the little girl with short curly hair?" his mum said yes thats who it was!!  LOL  He couldn't believe how she had changed over the years!! he said "I would never have guessed it was the same girl!!!.... Now, his mum calls him a perv!! LOL

I guess we all build pictures up of what people look like on here, I see Georgia has a little woman with long dark hair that lives in the middle of nowhere!  No, she'll clobber me... LOL lol

Lol the photo is 11 years old, I was 40 in it, my son took it.

Wonder if he's flogging himself mercilessly? I hope so. Flogging, I said flogging. eek

Did you notice your typo????? Wait while I stop laughing. ' I see Georgia has a little woman with long dark hair' I'M HETEROSEXUAL!!!!!!!

No need to shout Georgia! lol I am only here! ;P

I better get my grammar together! lol

I had a nice PM on here first thing this morning, from a woman I help with her PIP Claim, she got her Brown envelope with both components at Enhanced Rates! That's 3 since Xmas, not bad and I'm not even CAB... LOL  lol

Sorry Les, just thought it'd have more impact in capitals. You've got to admit it was a funny typo!

Er I don't know what PIP Claims are but I'm glad you're helping her because we all need to help each other more and more these days. razz

Please don't get your grammer together too much because I love funny typos! Hehe

PIP Claims is what is taking over the current DLA Claims. In January alone DLA Claims are being denied, at a rate where only 1 Claim in 3 gets passed! It's bad, Tis has got hers in June I think.

LOL... My typo's are on purpose... LOL Well, I can wish! lol
