Creepy feeling in the top left leg

I have just started with this new symptom of feeling like there is something crawling all over the top of my left leg. Could this be caused by AS or CS?

    Hi lesley1954,

    I have c/s and have had the same feeling for about 2 years now. It mostly happens when sat down, like spiders crawling up my legs. In fact several times when it happens I have to look to make sure nothing is crawling up my legs, mainly the right hand side. Guess it's all down to the nervous system and c/s.

      Hi Mike,

      I too have the same/similar symptoms along w/tingling, burning as well. The crawling sensation I also feel at times in my face and scalp. I told my primary care doctor and the neurologist and still to this day, they said that they can't for sure connect my weird symptoms to my cervical degenerative condition, particularly the crawling and tingling in my legs...The doctors frustrate me more than the actual symptoms. Talking w/others experiencing symptoms like mine actually gives me a  a little piece of mind knowing that I am not going crazy as I sometimes think, LOL!

    Sounds more like lower spine to me, I have a trapped nerve that caused this some years ago, it eventually stopped but now I walk with a limp because the nerve packed up and my foot doesn't respond properly.  The other symptom was like having a sock rolled up under the foot  like they did in wellies when we were kids.
