Crippling health anxiety

For the past 6 weeks I have been overcome with anxiety and fear about my health and death. I'm so bad that I have self diagnosed about 10 illnesses this week. I'm driving myself crazy by poking and prodding at my body. I'm at my wits end does anyone else feel like this. I get really panicked my these thoughts and the attacks are awful.

    Hi Tara I too suffer from really bad and I mean really bad anxiety the only relief I get is when I'm asleep and that's not always this has been going on for four weeks now I've suffered health anxiety & death anxiety in the past but also had years free from it. I too was constantly checking my body going backwards and forwards to doctors for reassurance and I never was once seriously ill. I totally get you. This time my anxiety is GAD just had my first session of CBT TODAY.

      Early days it's not the magic wand I wish it was. I've tried really hard all day today to keep my anxiety as manageable as i can but at the moment I am really struggling I'm in that awful spiral where thoughts are racing and irrational i recently ate two chocolate biscuits could it be the sugar?

      at the moment im trying a new diet plan and health supplements. i had this 3 years ago and i turned it around myself. i read about CANDIDA and also got advice that but getting rid of that from your body that it will help anxiety. it helped before so hopefully it will again. 

      this time i need it to be a life change and not fall back on the unhealthy side. read about the ymptoms of CANDIDA it might help

    Hi Tara

    yeah it is true and it is anxiety, I've been dealing with this almost 10 years now. I've been to emergency rooms, ....The only way to make sure about it is to start writing, painting, being active and only them you will see that all the symptoms are gone. They are fake!! It is just your bodi's natural response to fear and stress to be able to take care of yourself and survive. Just wait and try being as happy as possible. It comes and goes but it is doomed to leave.
