Crohn's and a flare with horrible diarrhea.

I quit Humira 2 months ago because my Dr. Was concerned because I had lymphocytes all through my digestive tract. Then they diagnosed me with lupus. For the past couple of weeks I have had horrible diarrhea, so bad all I was passing was clear liquid it was all day for 2 days. Now I have it again, I am wondering if people have had Crohn's flares where this happens.

    Do the dr give you another medicine to replace it. I think you try charcoal for it also help with inflamation in the intestine and stop the flare. You should go to emergency now for it will dehydrate you and may cause death.

      Thank you for your help. I.am waiting for my Dr to answer me. I hope I hear from them sometime to.know if this is a normal flare.

    Hi Stychsen,

    I have had Crohn's for 20 years Diagnosis, 1, Stricturing small bowel Crohn’s Disease with minimal colonic involvement. 2, seronegative arthropathy. I stopped taking Humira, 12 months ago because it was making me feel really ill and I was going to the toilet 10 times a day and also my poo was like yours! What other medication have they put you on? as I am now been taking Azathioprine for 12 months and have seen improvement. Do you have the IBD Nurse helpline services in your area?
