Hi sorry to bother people but I’m on humira mazalazine steriods and macaptapurine ( < there for life macaptapurine) but does anyone no why my stomach is hurting and cramping a lot while i being on humira iv had nothing but stomach pains cramps and heart pulps & makes me feel sick!! 😫does anyone have any idea’s thank’s

    Hi Jake I’m sorry to hear of what you’re going through and it resonates so much with me I thought I’d drop you a line. I’m wondering firstly if you are taking a PPI to protect your stomach lining (eg omeprazole, Pantoprazole) often the drugs we take to help heal the disease cause many problems of their own - high stomach acid being one if these! I’ve had stomach ulcers from steroids and drugs like Azathioprine so I’m now on a daily dose of Esomeprazole. If you’re taking one already apologiesbut thought I’d mention because high stomach acid / ulcers cause nausea, pain and general malaise. Humira gave me migraines and nausea throughout treatment, I put up with it fir a long time but my gastro nurse prescribed antiemetic drugs fir the nausea and a drug to help prevent migraines which really helped. I’m not sure about your palpitations but many drugs can cause these as a side effect - that said you should talk to your gastro or gp about it. There are various concoctions of meds to help alleviate these side effects you’re experiencing so please don’t put up with it. I strongly advise you speak to your team ASAP.       Hi hun and yeh I’m on loads of things for acid and I’m on codeine for pain was tramadol but don’t work I’m on mazalazine , macaptapurine, humira steriods aswell morning amd night I take these & last nyt I cudnt breath and felt like I was getting strangled I had to sit up real fast witch caused me pain but had no choose as couldn’t breath sad tbh i hate all this its anoyying amd fustrating drop me a message on here I’ll stay in Touch Id give my number but other people myt get it  xxxxx
