Cronic BV for almost 5 years can’t find a cure!

I have been struggling with cronic BV for almost 5 years now and there is NOTHING I’ve done to make it permanently go away. Yeah sure, Ive had some relief for about 5 days or more but it always seems to come back. I’m done! I’ve been perscibed medacine from OB in the past, some relief but nothing more than a week before symptoms have some back.

I have tried using boric acid in capsules, douching with vinegar also soaking tampons. Nothing does the job! I’m so embarrassed and I am desperate for new ideas on how to PERMANENTLY have this go away.

    I am so sorry :”( same for me.. I have not had it that long but about half that time. I struggle through life every single day... miss out on so much because I am anti-social because of my odor.. lonely because I can’t tale or try to date with vaginal odor that is easily smelled. I have also tried boric acid suppositories and EVERYTHING else including antibiotics from my Gyno... NOTHING works. I shower every day and make sure my parts are all dry before I get ready. I wash my sheets and towels regularly. I don’t wear undies at night, I wear only cotton, I eat clean, I do baths with apple cider vinegar once a week... I’ve tried baking soda baths... I switched my body wash to sensitive and Non scented! I AM SO OVER THIS I have spent so many nights crying myself to sleep... I miss being normal!!!! 

    Sorry I cannot suggest anything to you.. I’m sure you’ve tried it all... it seems like for some women it will go away but for some it doesn’t go away no matter what... I am starting to lose all hope. Just know you are not alone.

    OK so I learned what BV was after getting a IUD placed.  I have tried everything and it would work for maybe a week or so and then it would be back. So I heard about Vit C with rose hip being effective and I figured I had nothin to lose but BV!  So I have done it morning and night 1000mg tabs(white ones) and I have had the funkiest discharge ever!  But it’s clearing. All I can think is that it’s the dead cells or whatever that biofilm is sloughing off. Gross i know! I use an applicator to push pill was up in where it needs to go and that helps it not to burn at all.  I never even noticed them up in me.  Anyways, Giant red flecks of dried skin come out when I then irrigate with warm water to get all that nasty crap out of me.  I found the irrigation bottle with just any douche product. I really hope I’m right and this goes away. It sucks and is so embarrassing!  Ps I should add that I have used flagyl orally and the gel and the stuff you buy over internet.  I used hydrogen peroxide and vinegar water douches. None of them sloughed off the dead cells which is what I think needs to happen.

    I know what ur going through I've suffered for over 3 years now and the odor is horrible. I stay embarrassed all the time and my doc put me on depression meds I have tried so many things and nothing works. I'm so tired of trying to find something that will work the doctor doesn't help either I just want to give up but I know if I do I will b stuck with this for the rest of my life. I can't handle that I've suffered long enough and don't want to suffer anymore. If u find a cure please post or something that works for the odor
