CRP 1.2

I was diagnosed with PMR August 2016, started wth 10mg Pred and now I am down on 2mg/1.5mg with the slow dose method. I was never 100% syptomfree, but ok during the last few months. My main problem were/are the hip and hamstrings area. Last summer before taking the Pred the whole back and neck area was painful stiff. My Rheumatologist told me yesterday to taper down 0.5mg per month, but my CRP was 1.2 and I am still not symptomfree.Therfore I am scared what to do. She told me that the symptoms of my hamstrings would not be PMR related, but this is the area where I felt it first.
Any recommendations?

Just for the record, PMR first showed up for me in the legs, particularly bad in my left hamstring behind the knee. Trying to self-diagnose, I read about PMR, which described it as something affecting the hips and upper body, so I initially ruled it out. Luckily my doctor suspected it and tested for inflammation and tried me on prednisone, which confirmed the PMR diagnosis. So - the idea that the symptoms of your hamstrings would not be PMR related is wrong. I also have carpal tunnel in both hands, which some site say is NOT PMR related, but I believe it is,because the symptoms have gotten better with prednisone. Also, I've read of other people on this site having PMR in their hands. Some doctors seem to have a rather restricted idea of what this illness entails.
