rolleyeswhy has my CRP gone from 47 to <5 when i get so much pain in my neck and shoulders, and my hands.

I am going to see the Rheymi on Friday and will be interested to see what he says,

My feet have been given me pain, but i do have OA there, could this be why?

Was just into see my doctor several weeks ago my CRP had gone from about 13 to 25. In discussing this with my doc--who has been treating patients over thirty years--she said she has seen CRPs all over the map as they relate to PMR, including some that were normal where the patient still had pain. So I don't think there is an exact correlation between the CRP level and the level of pain experienced. I'll bet your doctor says the same thing. You have my wishes for a full recovery.

My CRP and  ESR are usually incredibly high. Sometimes I am fine and sometimes I am having a flare. I do get blood tests regularly but I am not sure how good they are, it is better to go on how you feel I think.

CRP isn't an entirely reliable indicator of inflammation even if some doctors think so. OA wouldn't necessarily raise the CRP and I'm sure there are other things too.
