Cryosurgery for Morton's Neuroma?

Hi - I have had surgery twice for Morton's Neuroma on my right foot; it has grown back each time and I am now looking for alternative options. I also have a neuroma in my left foot although this has not been operated on yet. Steroid injections have also been unsuccessful. Has anyone tried cryosurgery in the UK and had any success? I would be interested to hear experiences. Thanks.

    I have had op on left foot for mortons and bursa took out it left me in more pain they decided to put a cortisone injection through top foot which has totally cocked up!! I now have horrendous pain under,on top foot but also up leg and buttocks...am very stressed,depressed how I have ended up!! My son mentioned bout that cryosurgery but would like bit feedback...oh.. Win lottery!

    I had cryo on left foot almost 3 weeks ago. Surgery itself not painful, the bill was at 1200 squid! It's too early to be sure but it feels like the neuroma is still there. I've come on here looking for success stories but not found any. I don't think many people have it in UK as it's not available on NHS. I have only found 2 private clinics that do this, one in Sheffield, other in London. I also have MN in left foot that I may get done at a later date.

      Hi M..Lucy... Well I had mortons op on left foot 2yrs past March which they had go bit deeper to get a bursa out...they went through top of my foot.... Bout year later put tried injection through the top as I am still in pain well even more so now it's going up my left leg and buttocks! I am in terrible pain everyday no painkillers touch nerve damage.My son found that cryo clinic in Sheffield but apart from the cost not sure it would help as I had op done,nerves damaged..do you know anyone that's had op then tried cryo? Would try anything to stop living in pain gets me very irritable,chewy!! Hope it all works out for you... Let me know?

      Maudlucy, can you tell me how you well you are recovering from the cryo surgery on your foot? Is there still pain? Would you recommend it?
