    Hi Claire

Sorry you are having to come to this site and are having problems with DLA, unfortunetly it seems par for the course for all of us at present. I applied for DLA in Jan this year and was turned down. I asked them to reconsider giving them more info, they wrote to my GP and I got a letter 15th April saying I had been awarded higher rate mobility. So when you get your letter stateing your award from the appeal, you will have 1 month to contact them to reconsider. You need to write yourself a list of all your problems with mobility and care, also ask your GP for a medical report. Phone them as soon as you get your letter and tell them you want them to reconsider and read out your list to them and also tell them you will be posting further evidence to them. Once you have a letter from your GP, go to someone like CAB with letter and your list, they will help you draft a letter for DWP. Hope this helps and good luck regards Tony

    Hi Claire

Keep on trying and do not try to deal with it on your own. I tried that and had to admit I needed help, by doing that I got the correct result. If you need further advice please ask, regards Tony
