Cs or ms symptom

Hi

I just wanted to ask as I have issues with my neck but being referred to neurologist for possible ms, whether your neck issues (possible nerve damage) has caused any forgetfulness.

I regularly forget simple words and this is an ms symptom, but wondering if it's also a cs symptom too? because of the possible myelopathy, there is a huge cross over of lots of symptoms with these two conditions, and as I have weeks before seeing a neuro, then he'll have to book the mri to check for evidence of either condition, it means further weeks or months of waiting again.

Just wanting a little more knowledge on both conditions really

Many thanks

And I hope you're having a pain free day! smile

I don't think forgetfulness is anything to do with cs.  The main problem is that the failing spinal structure traps nerves causing pain and can trap blood vessels causing

light headedness.  I am 69 and have been having problems with neck pain etc for over 15 years but the only forgetfulness seems to be that associated with age.  I can still work out technical problems in my head and don't seem much changed over the years.  I hope you don't have MS though as it isn't very nice.

    Hi!

Don't worry too much about forgetting words. Wait and see what the neurologist says. I'm 53 and have had trouble finding words for years and years. It could be stress and worry. Stress can manifest in so many ways. I hope you only get good news from your doctors :-)

I have to say that yes, it can be a symptom of CS. For me, it was and still is. The smallest of words, I find myself trying to struggle to find. Conversations can take longer than they should because of this issue.
