CSF leak Headache post Puncture with Weakness

I was in the emergency room last Wednesday for what I thought was meningitis, got a lumbar puncture but with me being bigger they didn’t have a needle long enough so the doctor pushed down on the unit to withdraw fluid, hit a nerve to my left and right leg several time causing me to scream out in pain. They weren’t able to get much fluid but just enough. I was sent back to the ER flat on my back for two hours then kept for two days in the hospital afterwards as now the headache I went in for was now a spinal leak headache. I’m too big for bloodpatches the hospital said so they sent me home to suffer. It’s Tuesday now, I’m still in serious pain through my head, neck and down my spine, with nausea and weakness in my left side. The weakness is what has me worried. Should I be worried at this point and still in this much pain? Even though the spinal tap doctor said it wasn’t a traumatic tap?

Going to try seeing my GP today. See if he can give orders for a mri at another larger area hospital.

Thanks for any advice guys.
