Csf leak repair

I just got out of the hospital i was in for 12 days 9 in neuro ICU. I had a csf leak fixed last thursday and go to the ENT on September 5th and then neuro surgeon in a month. Does anyone know how long it takes to recover and how long a person takes off work? I'd like to get back to working but my doctors said not yet. I do have a problem sometimes with my balance seems my ears are clogged sometimes. Not sure if it's the packing up in my nose from the surgery but anyone ever gone through this or know anything please let me know. Thanks.
