CT pelvis abdomen w/ contrast

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi,

I have been feeling rather sick for months and finally decided to go to the doctor. He ordered blood test which i came back positive for a 2nd time for H.Pylori .

He also ordered a CT pelvis abdomen w/contrast and below were some of the findings.

Does anyone know what any of this means ?

Mural thickening throughout the sigmoid colon. Right hemicolectomy.

Single nonspecific mildly enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes within the right lower

quadrant. No significant free fluid within the abdomen or pelvis.

Small fat-containing ventral abdominal wall hernia.

No acute osseous finding.

IMPRESSION:

  1. Mural thickening throughout the sigmoid colon may relate to incomplete distention

    versus an infectious/inflammatory colitis.

Thanks in advance
