My UK Neurologist says no, as a CT Isn't as detailed or accurate as an MRI.

I had a CT scan for a 7 week headache and just wondered if there were any lesions, if they could possibly be seen.

You would need to get an MRI in a 1.7T or higher machine with MS protocol being followed. That's what I have been told. CT's of the brain are more for people that present to the hospital with stroke like symptoms and they want to quickly rule in or rule out a stroke so they can make a quick decison about administering TPA. This is then followed up with an MRI to get a more detailed look at what might be going on.

I did ask my GP and he said as there was no evidence of atrophy, i shouldnt worry. But I do.
