CT Scan on head

Hi everyone,

Have posted a few times talking about my ongoing physical symptoms & health anxieties. Just to run through them these include -

  • on/off headaches
  • Constant floaters in eyes
  • Brain fog
  • Dizziness
  • Numbness in hands/arms when waking up
  • Ringing in ears
  • Shaky hands

Have had several GP consultations over the past few months, who think I’m suffering from anxietyand nothing else. Had blood test/urine test/basic neurological exam by GP/thorough eye test all of which were normal. My GP finally agreed to refer me for a CT scan on my head and the appointment is tomorrow.

I’ve felt so unwell these last few weeks that I’ve been desperate for this appointment, now that it’s 24 hours away I’m feeling really anxious about it. I hate hospitals/doctor offices.

Wish me luck

sorry you are going through this.when I had your exact symptoms, I had an MRI of the head which was perfectly normal. Have you ever considered having an MRI instead? I chose that because There is no radiation.

my guess is that they will find absolutely nothing wrong because your symptoms are so common with anxiety and stress. i’ve had those symptoms on and off for over 30 years. But if you want to go ahead with the CT scan, I wish you the best.
