Ct scan revealed I have a aaa

went for a scan in February for Sarcoid the consultants letter to the doc and my self mentioned various bit for him to refer me for like an eye problem and a rash which should be followed up in relation to Sarcoid, he also mentioned at the end of the letter to refer me to a vascular surgeon as I have a 6.2 cm infrarenal auortic aneurism , any way after waiting two weeks I got a letter asking me to book an appointment . Got an appointment for two weeks later to see the vascular specialist expecting thinks to be sorted out quickly as nhs England deem this to be very dangerous . Any way he came into the room with one sheet of paper which was his patient list. As it turned out he had not even looked at my ct scan yet. He told me that I might have to have another ct scan at a hospital 18 miles away, then maybe a fitness test at another hospital 20 miles in another direction. And then an operation may be considered. I said to him that I was conserned about driving there and worried about this aaa he said to me that if the scan had not picked it up I would not have known about it so stop worrying .i will not mention my thoughts about this consultant .

    6.2 cm is too large.

Vascular specialist should recommend that you have corrective surgery ?
