Cupping - Normal Eye Pressure

Hi all! I guess I am just looking for some information as to others peoples experiences.  I went to get my eyes checked for new glasses after two years and was told that I had some "cupping" in my left eye but my eye pressure was normal. My vision had also gotten worse in that eyes. He asked if my eye hurt or got tired and I said yes but I didn't think any more than anyone elses.  He had me do a Field of Vision test and I missed a couple of spots so he said we should redo it after I get my new glasses and my eyes weren't dialated. I wasn't too worried until a couple days after that at the end of the day I found myself closing my left eye and squeezing it shut because it burned and felt tired and it dawned on me that I do that all the time. I also find myself kind of wiping away moistness from the bottom lid. Does this sound like anyone elses experience?  Just wondering how concerned I should be about this.

Thank for your help!

Was this an opthomologist or an optician? Better see an opthomologist for at least a second opinion.

You have classic symptoms of the early stage of glaucoma, I would say, so it is good that you are having treatment now to prevent deterioration.  As I have learnt from my own situation, there is a slight possibility that you are affected by blepharitis or even hay fever, but your specialist will be able to eliminate these.  Good luck!

I also feel that you must see Opthalmologist who may suggest some eye drops to forestal early Glaucoma.
