cured!!!! 100% real story/my story!!!

This is my story. I am not completely sure how I got it or if I ever really had it. I did what some people might have also done, self diagnosed. If I could go back I would have definitely went to a dermatologist and demanded a skin scrape test, which would hopefully determine what exact skin condition I had. But I was convinced and still believe I had scabies.
It all started with a small patch of bumps that were on my right forearm. It was about 2 weeks before Christmas. I noticed the bumps after they started to itch a little, but didn’t think much of it. Then it seemed to appear on the other forearm. Not ever having something like this or even understanding the many possibilities, I just thought it was a simple rash. About 3 days later while sleeping, I woke up with a severe itchiness on the inside of both my thighs, then during the day it was like it disappeared. It happened the next day but seemed more severe, and the only thing that seemed to help was taking a hot bath and letting the water run over my thighs. Again in the morning it went away. After that night of basically no sleep and in the bath, I went on webMD and typed in all my symptoms and it came up with scabies as one of the possibilities, especially with the itching and scratching at night. At this point I was not sure what I should do. The next night was the same as the two previous nights but seeming to get more intense. But in the morning I woke up and noticed that it had spread all over my body. It was all over my arms, but not really on the hands. It was all over my back, on my chest and stomach, and all over my legs and on my feet. The weird thing about my lower legs like from the knee down, it that around each hair follicle it seem to have a red circle. At this point I went to a community urgent care. When I went they asked what I was there for, I told them a rash and that I thought I might be scabies. Of course me not knowing the nightmare of a condition it can be, I told them, and of course the treated me as if I had the plague or something. Knowing what I know now I can not really blame them. Needless to say they were very unhelpful, one of the nurses told me that simple lice shampoo would take care of the problem. So I took her advice and went to Rite Aid and bought some and put in all over my body. Of course as you all probably know, it takes a lot more than simple hair lice product to kill them. So after a couple days and a couple applications of Rid the head lice treatment with no results I decided to go to a real urgent care affiliated with a hospital. When I went in and told them what I thought I had, they didn’t treat much different from other patients in the waiting room. Even the doctor was pretty at ease with sitting in the room and talking with me, or at least it seemed as if he was. Anyway, he prescribed permitherin. I put it all over except my face. The next morning it actually seemed to help a lot. Also washed all my blankets pillows and all dirty clothes in hot water. And I grabbed my bike and went out for a ride, with scratch scars on my arms and legs, but I was cured. So I thought. It only took a couple days to realize that permitherin helped but did not kill or cure all. I found myself refilling my perscription 7 days later and reapplying it because even the package says it may need second dosage 7 days later. The second dose still didn’t kill or cure all.
I then found myself searching the web and reading and learning as much as I can about this. At this point I was convinced I had scabies because I even talked to a doctor and he told me if the scabicide worked even a little it only works on parasites and not skin conditions such as follicleitis and others that are commonly confused with scabies. As the saying goes IGNORANCE IS DEFINITELY BLISS! The more I read, the more I was horrified. Ever story of struggle with hardly and happy endings, was discouraging. I can not tell you how many posts and forum pages I read. I was determined to beat this.
This is what I bought;
I bought a plastic drop “cloth” from the dollar store to cover my mattress with. I would spray and wipe this down every morning with Lysol or some type of disinfectant spray because believe me Lysol gets very expensive after a little while. I believe I replaced this once a week or so, but only a dollar so not too bad.
I bought plastic pillow cover from Wal-Mart I think. Actually slept without pillow throughout most of this. I also sprayed and wiped down every morning.
I bought plastic gloves from dollar store that I wore almost all day. Probably was a riot to a lot of people while driving in the streets, but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t letting myself come into contact with any new ones that might be on objects in my car or in my house. I made sure that to throw these away every time I touched something I thought could possibly have been contaminated. So needless to say I went through a lot of plastic golves.
Always had plastic bags for my laundry, trash(mostly napkins and plastic gloves).
I tried to confine myself to my room so I ate out I would say 99.99% of this time. I would mostly go to McDonalds and get a cheeseburger and a dollar salad. And buy like two of three of these for the day.
This was my regimen for many many months;
I limited my clothes I wore to 3 sets, and washed clothes every 3 to 4 days. I also limited what I used as blankets at night, 1 sheet.
This is what remedies I have tried;
Permitherin about 5 or 6 times. I took 1 dose that seems to help a lot but not all the way. Went back a week later and did it one more time. After that didn’t work I believe I tried it 3 times in a row, which still did not kill all. I also read online somewhere that they are getting more and more resistant to permitherin. And if you think about it, it make sense that they are suvivors, they have been around for a long long time.
After permitherin didn’t work, I tried vinegar
After vinegar didn’t work I tried Neem. I used the Neem lotion from Henry’s , now Sprout’s.
After neem didn’t work, I ordered some pure neem oil from eBay, along with coconut and olive oil.
After that didn’t work I decided I was going to try Ivermectin.
Ivermectin worked for me.
Luckily I live close to Tijuana, Mexico so I was able to take a trip down there and purchase Ivermectin, or Ivermectina in Spanish. I bought enough to take 3 weeks in a row. I did this and was cured, it was not instant, I had a lot of bumps and residuals still poping up from time to time, but this time I knew something was different. It took a month or two to really stop seeing new bumps form, but I heard it could take a while for all the scabies that died due to ivermectin to come out of skin, and while they are there still they show symptoms of iratation, i.e. rash.
Even to this day I get small little bumps pop up, but I pretty sure by taking the permitherin and ivermectin I probably picked up a small case of dermatitis or follicleitis.
Please ask any questions, I will try to help as much as possible, Please hang in there and remember things can and will get better!

Hey Anthony, thank you for sharing your story. Man, I thought I was putting a lot of effort in. I was diagnosed at the VA back in August 2019--this year. It's mid-November and I've had moments where I thought I kicked it, and it returned worse than ever. I had Ivermectin, but I still had it come back. I've put most of my clothes in storage, so I have only things that I can wash in hot water and dry on high heat. I put jackets in the freezer for 24 hours, and everything else gets put in a plastic trash bag with the top spray with permithrin and water solution until I do laundry. I have tried Neem, it slowed things down, but wouldn't stop it completely. I've had permethrin cream, it seems to wipe away the red bites, but not completely get rid of mites. Sulphur lotion helps lower the bites and make them go away...Ultimately, though, it's the fact that they're returning after all of the effort. I sleep on a thin japanese mat with a cover and pillows, that I spray with permethrin in the morning. Is there something else I'm missing, or need to do? I don't get it--this should be gone by now.

I cured my scabies 2 years ago with Permethrin, Tea tree oil ans a lotion cream . Evey night i mixed them all up in a bowl ans apllied all over my body. I used a liquid gallon of Permethrin on amazon and used a tea spoon of the chemical with the Tea Tree oil and lotion . You cant shower the next morning . I left on my skin all day long and at night after coming home from work i wull do it again like a ritual . I was so paranoid with that horrible thing that i had to start taking medicine for depression. I changed my sheets and my towel every single night. It was a nightmare but i got cured !! I also took Ivermectrin for a while . You gotta clean you car, your house and get everything covered with plastic bags . Your mattress, pillows, gotta vaccum your car and spray Permethrin everywhere. Its tiring buy you gotta do it !!! Dont lose hope !!

Danubia, thank you for the information. I have questions, if you could be so kind:
How much tea tree did you use in each application, and what kind of lotion? I have liquid permethrin and could probably start doing this tonight.
Also, I have a Japanese mat that is in 3 parts, it can't be covered by plastic and can't be washed because of the size of each piece (ends up making a twin bed on the floor). I'm thinking of just throwing it away and getting a sleeping bag that I can wash every week. Interested in what you think about this.
I haven't put covers on the car seats--just had it detailed last Monday--just cheap plastic ones?
Getting everything covered with plastic bags--what do you mean? I dry cleaned my jackets, I'm wearing things only once and putting them into a garbage bag sprayed with permethrin until they're washed. I've wiped out my dresser area and keep the dirty clothes in a sealed bin inside trash bags. I do wear my treated pajamas that I've worn the cream in a few times, since the cream should have kept the bugs off. I've used the same shower towel a few times--should I be sticking to one night a week with those?
Thank you for response, if you could help with these questions, I would be grateful.

Hey Curt! Sorry you're going to this . Dont feel hopeless ok? You will be cured, you need consistency. I mixed in bowl a good quantity of GOLD BOND body lotion plus one tea spoon of tea tree oil and 2 or 1 1/2 tea spoon of liquid Permethrin. TTO is very strong and gonna give you a tingiling sensation . Its normal. This GOLD BOND body lotion has an amazing texture . You wont feel your skin very dry because of quemical. Aplly all over your body before going to bed and dont shower until next bed time. Watch how your skin reacts and the bumps. The TTO is very powerful so if you see your skin is gettind too dry intercalate the days . Its important that you need to take oral medication too, so they kill scabies internally. You have to treat inside and outside. You gotta use plastic gloves to apply the lotion on you. It would be great if someone could help you w that so you apply evenly on your entire body. Mattress, pillowcases and everything you touch have to be covered w plastics. Use only one towel ans this one has be washed in HOT water every day. I used to dry myself with paper towels. As the day went by I started felling less patches on my body ans less bumps. It was tireless 3 months of hell but i felt l so emotional and relieved when I noticed that I was cured. Try to wear the same pair of clothes so you dont damage your entire wardrobe. You CANT reuse anything my friend. Every piece you wear has to be washed. For my car I bought a very cheap seat protect to protect the seat and sprayed Permethrin on my seat, the steering wheel, the doors handlers and every single place I could touch with my hands. Carpets also have to be vacuumed every day . If you do this you soon will be cured with the Gods glory. Unfortunately no touching other people, no holding hands .... Its sad but this is nasty creatures are very easy to spread out so we need to keep distance. Hope it works for you !!!!

Thank you Sara, it took me a long time to really figure things out. I guess I'll have to sleep in a sleeping bag and throw away the Japanese mats. I'll probably put up my own post with photos regarding the mats. But I'm thinking I have to throw them away.
I live in a studio apartment with an all-wood flooring--so I clean it every few days, and spray permethrin. I see my doctor at the VA on Friday, hopefully she will clear me for ivermectin.
Sorry to keep asking questions, I'm just trying to get rid of this--its horrible, as you know.
How long did you have to stay on the Ivermectin? Was the 3 months from the very beginning of symptoms to when you killed it, or from when you started your routine until you killed it? I was diagnosed in late August, and have been treating it. I was rewearing jackets at first, now I know better. I was putting clothes in the freezer, but I don't think that worked. I only cleared out my closet and went to minimal clothes and furniture about 2 weeks ago, so it feels like I'm actually starting it. I at least have most everything set up right--your advice has helped with some of the things I've overlooked.
I'm in a long-distance and she's in Japan. I'm supposed to see her in December, but if I can't cure this in time, I can't go over there. I have the plane ticket and everything.

Sorry Danubia,
I called you Sara in the above post, this chain is confusing to read. Could you follow the questions I put up--connecting with you is better than seeing my dermo.
Thank you much, Curt

I think i went to the doctor 3 times to get Ivermectin. In the beginning i was just taking but didnt know how to act with things around . So i was taking and got but my room and car was infested too. At the end of my second dose things started clearing out because i had begun the cream protocol so as i said i was treating the in and the outside . Some days here and there i still found patches on my body, especially on my arms so all panicking attack again and more Iver.... On my 3rd dose I finally couldnt see anything else or couldnt feel any itch. But, because I was very emotionally drained some days i could feel some crawling but it was just my psychological. It took me a while to get my normal life back again. I didnt want to socialize or touch anyone .
I would recommend you to get treated first so you dont pass this nightmare along to anyone . Take care !!

I think I'm at about the same place as you on this horrific journey called scabies. I am about to switch to wearing one outfit/using one towel per day and washing said items daily. My symptoms started the beginning of October, have done the pills 4 times and the cream all over 6 times and on the new spots that have appeared in the last week, doing just the spots because I ran out of the stuff. Going back to dr. tomorrow for a skin scrapping.
Have you had any success with your situation?

I thought i had scabies for almost a whole year until I found out its MORGELLONS !!!! no meds worked for this only natural treatments such as herbs, vitamins and cleanses-herbs and oils mixed in my body lotion. MIRGELLONS IS MOT JUST FIBERS ITS WORMS. I finally ordered pure FENBENDAZOLE from ebay can also be found on happy healing store. if you are not sure this is scabies buy a handheld microscope and you will see white coat surfaces with black and sometimes red small fibers in your tissue. this disease like every parasite infection is made up by fungus. good is to take anti fungal supplements everyday to reduce it includung healthy diet with no red meat, no gluten and no lactose, no SUGAR to reduce yeast and to starve the parasites to death. it is resistant to anti parasites meds but FENBENDAZOLE is more natural and can be taken everyday for years safely to prevent it coming back to your system specialists recommend it for three years . do t go to any doctors just follow this protocol and make sure to buy LUGOS IODINE bacteria font like jod and this is the best salt that gives you more energy do no use produced products anymore buy organic without gmo and no table salt only sea salt and herbsalt.

morgellons is not an actual infection. it just a sensation that you have an actual infection without actually having one. i would be careful with this post with recommending fenbendazole for 3 years. some studies do show albendazole can treat scabies but its still off label use

Hi Faye,
Sorry to those who have asked questions and I have failed to respond to. As for the dosage I do not recall exactly the amount I took but if I recall correctly I found it somewhere on the scabies forums or on the internet. There is a formula to calculate based on your weight and you determine the amount from that. Also it is taken once a week and I did this for 3 consecutive weeks. Also if I recall correctly they recommend taking the Ivermectin with grapefruit juice because it is supposed to help store it in your body for a longer period of time. I can not verify that claim or even remember if i drank the juice when i took the Ivermectin. I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you the exact amount I took or even the formula to determine depending on your body weight. I'm sure with a quick search you will be able to find it. I wish you a speedy recovery from scabies and all though it seems like it will never go away and you feel hopeless at times please remember that things will get better and you will beat this!
