Cured my Bv!

Ladies I have suffered for years with bv and tried just about everything! Here's what worked for me, it kinda happened by accident but I've been bv free for almost two months, I have been sexually active and even after my period it has not returned. There is no douching of any kind in my cure. Hopefully this helps all or some of you as I take into account that every body can react differently. Best wishes and relief to you all!

Upon waking (before eating) have large glass of water with a good squeeze of fresh lemon. Take a femdolphilus pill with water.

After breakfast take an Alive Once Daily women's ultra potency multivitamin.

Drink water with fresh lemon throughout the day at least 3 large glasses.

That's it! Also, Try not to eat tons of sweets or too much red meat.

Best of luck!!!!!!

I was breaking with bv and found this forum searching natural remedies. I ended up buying vitamin c and ultimate flora probiotics for women. I inserted the vitamin c for 2 nights and been taking the probiotics daily and NO BV. I've been sexually active as well and no smell whats so ever. I'm so glad I found this site

Ladies, I had an appointment for a check up this past Wednesday (I am seeing my gynocologist every 4 weeks or so due to some cervical cancer) and for the first time in almost one year had NO sign of white blood cells (infection) OR bacteria! My pH was 4, which is great, the lowest it's been! Here's what I've been doing:

*Mug of warm water with 1/4 of a fresh lemon squeezed in. (I then also leave the piece of lemon in the water as I sip; make sure to wash the lemon really well for this!)

    *__________vaginal health probiotic

*I cut WAY back on sugar- I'm only eating sugar when I eat fruit.

*Cut WAY back on grains. I DID cheat the other day and have a piece of organic whole wheat toast with avocado on it

*No processed foods- eat raw and natural

    *_________gel at night

I'm not saying it can't or won't come back- I just know that this is the first time in about one year that I've been free of infection and my pH has been low! smile

The link between diet and chronic health issues is not discussed enough. Diet has a HUGE effect on your body and health- and changing the way you eat can work so much better than prescriptions for so many things. I also used to suffer from terrible IBS- for about 5 years I saw a dietician, a GI specialist, etc. Had my gallbladder removed, was on prescription anti-spasmatic pills, etc. Then starting eating clean- removed wheat, grains, sugars, alcohol (sad to give up my wine!), etc from my diet. Started every meal with something green to aid with digestion. Green smoothies in the morning for breakfast (spinach, romaine or kale, celery, water, banana, apple, pear, lemon juice), etc. My IBS hasn't bothered me since! smile It took about two weeks and I wasn't curled up in bed with terrible pains and cramps after every meal.
