Current Hospital Patient Doctors Say Is Mystery

Hi Everyone,

I am posting in required to my sister who is currently in the hospital, I have never posted here before and apologize head of time if I make a mistake.

She has been tested multiple times for covid and the flu, both came back negative. Her symptoms have been a fever of 104 multiple days, doctors said Low white and red blood cell and low platelets, painful headache, there was talk of possible sepsis. She is 40 years old, athletic, overall healthy, does smoke one of the vapes, and drinks socially. They have recently removed her appendix that was slightly swollen but said nothing like the condition expected and they still aren't sure what is happening. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my post, God bless all the front line works, you are my heroes and we will never forget it.

Your sister is in the right place...you just have to trust her doctors. It could be a virus or it could be an infection from the appendectomy or it could be something else entirely. I am sure everything is being done to help her. They will be consulting amongst themselves and other specialists. It would be wrong of anyone on here to give an opinion .
