The wiki page for "Human penis normal variations" says this:
"Curvature: few penises are completely straight, with curves commonly seen in all directions (up, down, left, right). Sometimes the curve is very prominent but it rarely inhibits sexual intercourse. Curvature as great as 30° is considered normal and medical treatment is rarely considered unless the angle exceeds 45°."
If it's always been like that, I wouldn't worry about it. It sounds like your penis used to be a lot straighter though, so I'd see a doctor to see if it might be Peyronie's disease. You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.
If you could update this thread and tell us what the doctors say, it would be appreciated. Good luck.

Nick, what is your age? How long have you been sexually active (if, at all)? How many years have you been masturbating, and how frequently, typically per week?
In terms of what you should do, you state yourself: "leave it till i face difficulties" - this is often the best approach of all! If there is not a problem being caused, then, why fix it?!
I have used penis pumps / developers to overcome other penis issues and one of the things they claim to help with is penis curvature.
*What I need to emphasise for anyone who decides to use a penis pump / developer is you need to very careful in building up the regularity of use, the amount of minutes you apply one each day, rest periods (days not using one) and dealing with injuries is critically important!

I don't think this has anything to do with masturbation unless he was especially rough, and I would strongly recommend against using a penis pump for any reason, unless it's advised by a doctor (which seems very unlikely).
The NHS page on "Penis enlargement" says this:
Vacuum devices
Penis pumps involve placing a tube over the penis and then pumping out the air to create a vacuum. The vacuum draws blood into the penis and makes it swell. Vacuum devices are sometimes used in the short-term treatment of impotence. But overusing a penis pump can damage the tissue of the penis, leading to weaker erections.
"There is very little evidence that these devices cause any significant long-term gain in size," says Professor Wylie. "Using a pump for a few minutes a day won't do anything to increase penis size."

Without using a Penis developer / pump I would go as far as saying I would not have a sex life. While yes I agree, the natural association with them is for men to constantly chase a 'larger size' - specifically: i.) in fact they are very unlikely to do such a thing, no matter how much it is used; ii.) for those merely 'chasing' size change it is all to easy to cause damage and injury!
However, if you use one in a particularly considered manner, they can achieve positive outcomes. For me personally, I know what option I would go for, and that is certainly never to have used one (given the circumstances I was overcoming)!
