Cushings and muscular pains

I am experiencing severe muscular pain in my thighs and upper arms.  It wakes me up several times a night.  Does anyone else experience this, and if so, how do they manage it?

    Hi,  Have you been diagnosed with Cushings?  I must say that I did not have the muscular pains that you describe but we are all different.  Have you spoken to your GP or Endo about it and what have they said. Hope some of the others might have more experience with this problem.Take care.

      I have been diagnosed some time ago, apparently I have a nodule on both adrenal glands, so am waiting to have a procedure to take blood from both kidneys to determine which is causing the problem, prior to removal of the affected adrenal gland.  And yes, one of the questions my consultant asked was whether I had started to experience 'upper arm pains and discomfort'.  So I am assuming that it is quite a common symptom.

    Hi I have just started very recently experiencing this too.  Ive had back pain for years and it usually wakes my up but after I get upt it ususlly goes again.  Over the last year I have had bouts of severe back pain and now its in my arms, legs, shoulders and just everywhere really .  I got prescribed Ibuprofen and that takes the edge off.  I am just waiting for an appaointment for surgery now so hopefullyit will go once that is over.
