Cyst Hard as a Rock - after incision - HELP, CANCER?

I have been dealing with Bartholin Gland Cysts, bilaterally, for about 10 years. It's been an absolute nightmare. I have been able to manage them and drain them on my own MOST of the time when they flair up. I had to have one lanced that had become infected and wouldn't drain naturally a few years ago, and then again just recently in October had to have the same one lanced again after infection.

After this most recent incision, the cyst came back. But there is no pain (perhaps a little sensitivity), just a hard lump. It almost feels like a testicle in there, the lump is almost the size of a large egg....I called my doctor and told them I would like to be seen by an MD about this (a midwife is who did the procedure in Oct), because clearly lancing and draining it isn't working and I can't keep going through the trauma of having this procedure done time and time again. WELL, they said I can't get in with an MD until next summer July 2021, but if I wanted to see one of their mid-level staff I could get in sooner.

My first question is....what the F!$K...I am having an immediate, recurring issue, that is affecting my daily quality of life. I am wondering if perhaps a biopsy needs done, or even surgery....I'm starting to become concerned that perhaps there is something worse going on here. Not that I don't think midwives and nurse practitioners aren't amazing medical professionals, but if I need to have surgery or a biopsy done...I want to see an MD - I'm not sure midwives and nurse practitioners can do surgery?? Has anyone else had their bartholin cyst become hard as a rock with no pain? I know it is rare, but I am worried perhaps it is cancerous! I am truly terrified....terrified of having surgery....terrified of it being something worse than just a cyst....and now I have to wait 7 months to be seen since I want to see an MD. I just feel really hopeless...
