Cyst has gone away after 2 weeks? Should I be worried

I don't have anyone else I can turn to to talk about this with for advice, so I would really appreciate any sort of help or feedback.

I'm 25 years old, and I am experiencing my 2nd cyst. My first one occurred 2-3 years ago, and I never thought I would be experiencing this nightmare again 😦

My doctor told me to try to squeeze and pop my own cyst in the shower, but in my research many online article highly recommend NOT to do that.

I was prescribed some antibiotics so I've been taking that, I also started taking turmeric pills which is supposed to help with "inflammation". I've been doing as many warm compresses and sitz baths as I can, but nothing seems to be working. I even got PRID (the drawing salve) which has done nothing.

I even tried Phoebe's cure too, super painful and it left me with a wound but it doesn't seem to be "deep" enough to allow the cyst to come to a head or for me to pop it. My cyst seems to have stayed the same size though this entire time, bigger than a grape but smaller than a golf ball.

It's going to be almost 2 weeks since this has all started, and at this point I'm at a loss at what to do. I feel discouraged to keep doing the warm sitz baths since i've seen no change. Sometimes I just want to sterilize a needle and just pop it myself, but I know it might get infected and I would regret it.

I should also mention I feel 0 pain from my cyst thus far. The only pain has been from doing phoebe's cure.

If anyone has ANY advice or words of encouragement, I would be super grateful. Thank you 😃

*EDIT: I meant to write HASN'T, not HAS for the title

    well self med is wrong

but i would say ur doc was right

if you are afraid to go to doc, which i suggest

buy a insulin syringe with needle

    clean area with povidone iodine,

    a puncture and drain,

same procedure in hospital might require anesthesia, ask some of your friends

again i am against my advice 😃
