Cystitis from prostititis

I am a male 54 years old and had suspected prostatitis . After having a cystoscopy they found an inflamed prostate but that some of my bladder was inflamed too . They are now saying it could also be interstitial cystitis . They have given me copraxalin but I don't see why as they are giving me another cystoscopy in 3 weeks to see if they help and if not want to do a bladder biopsy too . Anyone else having this problem . Ps it's very painful in bladder area

    Make urine leads acidic to relieve pain

    Don't eat meat or fruit. Avoid MSG. Common in ready meals esp. Chinese food. Don't drink tea coffee alcohol or tap water. Sounds drastic but anything to relieve pain. No soap in bath. These measures really helped me. No more blood in urine !! Take bicarbonate of soda in water. It help make urine leads acidic. Drink LOTS of mineral water

      Thanks Ann . I will definately try out the things you have recommended . It is so painful and dreadful in morning if my bladder is full
