Cystitis Rant!

Rant time!

I've been diagnosed with glandular fever and as if that wasn't bad enough I get cystitis! Grr! I got it the day after I had oral and finger sex (oh god how i hate saying that) with a guy I liked and it was the 2nd time we'd done anything but the next day i needed to pee lots and it hurt like hell. So I go to the drs get a 3 day course of tablets, it clears up. Then last week I got ill again with my glandular fever, basically I was bed ridden for the week. I've gotten back together with my ex bf, and I did pretty much the same thing as I did with the other guy (god it makes me feel like a slut) and then a few days later I get the cystitis back again.

I'm just worried that its gonna keep coming back, and the chances are me and bf are gonna have sex soon and I know that can cause it. So it's totally putting me off sex now!

Help anyone!

You are getting cystitis because your partners hands, nails and or organ arent clean, theyre introducing bacteria into your private area :? These partners need to cut their nails and wash thoroughly beforehand smile

    Yeah that is probably true.

Tell them to go wash before they come near me lol!

My boyfriend smokes, I think this may be a trigger to cystitis since iv had it 4 times now in the last 2 months. been on about 4 different antibiotics, don't seem to be doing the job. Its definately beyond being funny now!!

Ive noticed recently that having oral sex brings on cystitis, although [u:044f4edb43]just[/u:044f4edb43] sex doesnt seem to irritate me. Might be due to lots of bacteria in mouth? Might just be coincidence?

Let me say, dont worry about cystitis when having sex... some say the worry can even bring it on?!? Try it and you might be lucky enough for cystitis not to bother you! Particularly if you use a comdom and lubrication (because of cleanliness and also preventing dryness) you might find it reduces your chances of cystitis.

    Hope that helps!
