Cystoscopy yesterday

I am a 62 year old woman who had a cystoscopy yesterday at The Chaucer Hosp as a lucky NHS patient.  A small tumour was found in my bladder and treated with a chemo wash. I had a GA and was fitted with a catheter. The bladder was washed through several times and removal of catherter was fine. Whole process over very quickly and no pain. I'll have to be checked regualrly but please do not fear this proceedure it is not painful and after care brilliant. I was home in a day.

These grouyps and froums are so helpful.  Happy to respond to anyone worried
