Cysts

I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries since coming off contraception as I was breaking out in cysts. My GP prescribes me with antibiotics that clears them up but I break out again in a couple of months I have taken a course of the contraceptive pill and that helps me not breakout in cysts. Does anyone know if there is anything that will help long term as I don't want to keep taking the pill for the rest of my life?

Have you tried seeing a skin specialist? That may help?. I know that changing your diet can help aswell.

Hope you find some answers soon

Myo-inositol worked for me. Jarrow is the brand I use via amazon. I did a lot of research when I was trying to conceive & checked with an obstetrician who was happy I used it. 1/4 teaspoon in water in am & pm. Took  about 3 months to take effect but regulated periods & helped with weight considerably.

Diet is a definite- low GI, low dairy, no soya, loads of protein (I made up smoothies with protein powder in when I started trying to sort my pcos out)
