Cysts and white spots not going away, please help!

Posted , 4 users are following.

I've looked into this and I think it's smegma, I have had it for at least one year now and it's not going away and I read that smegma is meant to go away in just a few days, I wash my glands and under every morning, for the past year at least, and it's not going away, could this be something with my daily activities? Is it being replenished somehow? Thank you so much for any help

Kindly post pictures so that we make out what exactly it is!

If you are 16 or over you can post photos directly to this site - often this is the only way we can comment on what is happening for you

Controlling smegma is usually linked to your daily penile hygiene practices, what you may have is an abnormal residual covering - this would show in clear photos .....

Yes, I think that sounds right. It's quite often shiny, I'll upload photos later possibly, but is there any chance it's anything other than smegma?

To my knowledge, smegma will only be present on your glans / head of penis.

You seem to be showing something of concern on the shaft of your penis: is this correct?

For example in photo 1 the issue you may be highlighting is nearest to your forefinger - is this what you are concerned about?

Again, on photo 3 is it the area immediately above your thumb that is of concern ....... ?

Yes picture 1 above the forefinger there's yellowish stuff that looks worrying. In picture two its above my thumb and 3 its also above my thumb. It looks horrible, I don't know what it is and want to know what I can do about it. (Thanks for taking the time to respond).

What looks obvious to you with your penile skin in front of you is not always as obvious via photographic images. Please confirm: -

      .

      • When you say yellowish 'stuff' - there is no way these are spots?
      • That is, are you saying this yellowish stuff is on the top of your skin?

        .

What you can do is get some baby oil or lotion, or liquid coconut oil on a clean paper tissue or small amount of cotton wool and rub what you are saying is the yellowish stuff, try very lightly at first, then slightly more force if nothing is happening.

Try that for 3 or 4 days and see what happens.

Also, are you sexually active at the moment?

If you are sure this is something on top of your skin, rather than spots you need to check elsewhere in your groin region, particularly behind your scrotum on your perineum and around your anus - look carefully at the skin among your pubic hair also .....

Essentially, you may need to seek professional medical help for this, you can check with your GP initially, but you may need to see a Dermatologist if you cannot get rid of the yellowish stuff
