D is for Debacle - The Crucial Story of Vitamin D and Human Health

I just finished watching this youtube video that Starlight8/Ann had shared with me last year sometime by message. It is amazing! Not just for us LSers but our children and grandchildren's health in general.
I don't remember if she was able to get it through and posted to all of us. We all know how annoying the admin is about sharing perfectly helpful links. But put the title of this post in your search engine and surely it will come up. It is very scientific in a good way, good graphics that show us just HOW important our supplementing with vitamin D is.
Smiles - just a note especially for some of the more recent newbies who keep asking about which cream or ointment will help... without realizing HOW INTERNAL this thing is.. blessings , Nancy in U.S.A.

Nancy, I didn't come up with the video you mentioned although I copied and pasted into the search box, but did come up with an interview with Cummings speaking about Vit D and our need for it (no graphics).
As I go from one sunny place to another I suspect I probably get my fair share of it and with my ethnic background I don't burn. But the older I get I think I'm seeing the result of a youth (mis)spent on beaches in the form of various and sundry brown moles, spots and you name it popping up all over. But surely 20-30 minutes would be fine. Matter of fact I sat outside listening to the interview!

NANCY. Thank you so much for sharing that link. I was transfixed. About a year ago I read somewhere that Vitamin D and vitamin B12 might help LS So I tried it by buying from a health food shop in the UK and Ive never looked back. As with most on here I was willing to try anything ... it has also helped in other aspects... more energy and stamina. I'm not so easily tired out now. The LS is nowhere near as bad as it was... I was crying most nights with the pain of the itch. Sex was something I dreaded ... now my sex life is back to near normal and most importantly NO ITCH SCRATCH scenario. Yes its still there ... this is not a cure. If I feel a wee niggle I use the steroid cream which seems to work quicker than before.... but that said I do hope after watching that video that others find it helps them too.
