i am male 53 yrs old. i have suffered from chronic uti,s iver a 5 year period. antibiotics only worked the first time and then i moved in to d mannose that always worked after a day or so. i have now had a nasty uti for 5 days and the dmannose is not touching the sides. any clues as to why this might be?

I am 50 and have similar problems, but dmannose work for me only as prevention, when I get "real" UTI I have to take ant. Only Ciprobay helps.

The best advice anyone on this forum can give you is to say please see your doctor as soon as possible.
D Manose is for mild bladder irritation and of course it is supposed to protect the bladder before an infection takes hold.
