D0 SPINAL CORD STIMULATORS WORK

Has anyone had a spinal cord stimulator? I have had 3 back surgeries that were highly successful. It has been 12 years since my last surgery and am now experiencing a consistent 10 pain scale for the last 8 months. I have weakness in my left leg and find walking difficult and now can hardly walk. I had an appointment with a Neurosurgeon yesterday and after reading my MRI said e could not operate. So he suggested a SCS. I am hoping someone here has had a spinal cord stimulator implanted that has experienced the level of pain I live with. I actually was looking forward to surgery to give me back my quality of life and am extremely disappointed.

Thanks

I have a Nevro HF10, I have gotten some really good relief at times though they were always relatively short lived periods.

I got the implant a year ago, I have been discussing on Facebook to understand people's experiences as it seems the stimulators is more of a journey type of deal for some (myself included) in that you need to have adjustments/reprogrammings made by the manufacturer. They are not a cure but a tool to get some level of relief. I advise you to go on Facebook and join a few of the scs groups and read people's experiences and ask questions.
