Daily Headaches

Just wanted to check if anyone suffers from daily headaches? I'm about 4 and a half months in of having glandular fever. I'm back at work now on a phased return a d socialising to some extent. My main symptons now is this constant pressure feeling in my head and as the day passes by it generally turns into a headache. Painkillers are not really working, which is making it more annoying. With this I still have little anxiety/panic moments but they seem to be getting easier to deal with albeit still not very enjoyable. About three months ago I was completely dizzy and spaced out which lasted two months. This has disappeared now, apart from the pain in my head. Just wondering if anyone else had this and any advice?

Just wanted to let you know everything that you are going through is completely normal and this virus takes a while to run it’s course but it will and you will get better and you will fully recover. Yes headache is very common I get headaches too, but how about fatigue? Have you been having fatigue and stuff? Usually fatigue is the main symptom.
But the fact that you have improved a good amount is a really good sign and you are in the right direction and it will keep getting better until you are normal again and your headaches will go away.

Thanks I'll have a look into it. Yes i do believe I'm dealing with the fatigue stage of the virus. It's not hitting me as bad now but still comes around mid day. My sleep is also still a bit iffy. In regards to body pain...I'm not really suffering anymore. My glands in my neck ache on the right hand side some time. But I will look into the tennis ball technique

Hi Dodge,
So sorry to hear you are having these awful headaches with mono. I have read from the forum of others saying they have had this symptom, it's hard for me to remember exactly if this bothered me as it was 12 years ago since I had it. Just want to reassure you that all the horrible symptoms of this virus do go eventually, for me it too a number of months but thanks to God I got there, and really hoping and praying the same for you. That is real progress to get back to work on phase return and socialising again, a great achievement.
Feverfew I have read I think is a good herb / supplement for headaches and taking Vitamin B complex can be good as it helps with nervous system and mental sharpness, etc. Maybe worth a try if not already tried.
Hoping for continued recovery and for these headaches to disappear - thinking of you and hang in there! Believing you will get there truly I believe that trusting God.

when I was going through my worst phase I was completely spaced out, dizzy, weak, just like you. I could barely do anything except lay in bed! I definitely had a period of time where I had a headache almost everyday so I think this is normal. Eventually it did go away but I understand it can be frustrating. The anxiety and panic attacks seem to be something that most of us go through with this virus unfortunately, so hang in there. It seems like you are on the road to recovery. If your only persisting symptoms are anxiety and headaches it seems like you have made a big step forward. I would just slowly start socializing more and going out more like you probably used to before the virus, but don’t overdo it. It’s so easy to relapse and lose your energy so take care of yourself!

Sorry to bring this old topic up, but headaches is still one of the main symptoms I am struggling with. I guess I'm not really suffering from daily headaches anymore but can always feel some discomfort in my head(hard to describe) and get short pains that last for a few mins. But today I have woken up with the worse headache. The pain is mainly on the right side of my head and can feel discomfort in my glands. If I could just get this unwell feeling in my head to go, I think I would feel so much better.
