Daily headaches anyone

Hello, I have been on 20mg of cit for 3 1/2 months. Generally feeling a lot less anxious and over the worst of the side effects. Would love to put on some weight, but most troubling is the daily headaches. I have never been a headachy person, so this has thrown me to some extent. I understand what people are talking about when they refer to a tight band around your head and eye pressure. I hope this dissapears soon, because it is making me feel like a paracetamol junkie.

    Lee,

It really should calm down. I had the exact same thing. I had it when I was taking 10 mg and then again when I went up to 20 mg. The headaches have gone and most of the tight band feeling. I get it occassionaly, but not nearly as bad as I did before. I was on 10 mg for a month and have been on 20 mg for almost 3 full weeks. My anxiety is improving, but still not completely there. My doctor told me I should really feel a difference when I am on the 20 mg for about 4 weeks.

Hi lee, I know everyone is different but for me headaches are the side effect I get from taking citalopram. This is the main reason I'm weening myself off them now. For me I was waking up with headaches too which isn't good lol. Paracetamol didn't seem to effect the headaches either. I've been taking 20mg a day for 2 years now. And daily headaches have been a problem for me too.

Oh wow! I'm hoping mine just go away. Good luck with the warning off, I'm sure you will be fine. Thanks for the reply. Lee.
