Daily tension headaches

Hi everyone, I started having really bad headaches a week and a half ago after my period finished. My period was 2 months late and very heavy. The headaches are present all day every day and normal painkillers do nothing. I wonder I

if this has anything to do with peri- menopause as I have been having hot flushes, night sweats, anxiety and more for the last 2 years.

My headaches started in 2017 since perimenopause started, i get a few days break from it but this past few weeks its been constant, i went for xrays last week, doctot says sinus inflammation, took antibiotics, didn't help, i just dont know what to do. Its so depressing, plus i have high blood pressure and can't take certain painkiller tablets, have not had a period since march. I feel hopeless as its one thing after another. Im 53.

hi there - i cant take OTC pain relievers either because of high blood pressure issues - this is something i started doing during this quarantine to relieve my stress & tension headaches - i take a large bowl that will fit both my feet - iI fill it with very warm water & put epsom salt & lavender oil or crystals in the hot water - put either a cold pack or warm pack on my neck, (depending on what sounds better) rub lavender oil on wrists & temples & plunge my feet in the hot water & sit & breathe & meditate for as long as i can & i feel it really helps to calm my nerves & lessen my headache - also remember to drink lots of what - dehydration causes headaches too!
