I am 3.5 weeks post op and really feel that I could go to a Zumba class at my gym?!! Also desperate to get back on my bike!! Am jus about stick less and driving so my next question to my physio on Tuesday at my 4 week check is when can I do those things!! I also like hula hooping but guess that will be out of question for a few weeks as too much twisting!! Am walking lots and just about back to normal chores!! Just thus sleep malarkey that's still an issue!!

Its great to hear you are doing so well. you sound like youre a young hippie not from the real hippie era like me tho i never was a hippie living in rural ireland as a teenager.

i have done` mum dancing` at a disco in a pub - does that help!!!

Mum dancing??? is that the kind where you embarrass your kids. Its country and western dancing I like but someone said I would not ever be able to jive again as too much twisting. Well if I even get back to a quickstep and waltz I willbe happy.

    Hi attractac,

I am 3 months out from 3rd THR and while I never learned to dance formally, a favorite song came on Pandora last week and I shook my booty to it, carefully, and had such a good time! Perhaps the passion in my spirit that all my surgeries and pain medications zapped out of me is returning!

cheesygrin LOL Attractac .... Dance as if nobody is watching, just be careful !!! I am from the real hippy era - growing up around Amsterdam I was really right in the middle of the happenings ...not so must the jive though, but go-go dancing and twist - mandatory ball room dancing at age 14 ... I think Dawn has something there - just move your body with the rythm of the music - slowly - enjoy - warm hug

Ha Renee! As a youngster, I spent three years living near Amsterdam and my parents shielded us from the "Beatniks"! All it did was make me more curious!
