Oh wow! Have tried asking your doctor for something for the pain. I used to suffer horrendous cramps before I had my kids but lately it seems like leading up to my period and sometimes when I go off of it, I experience some cramps but nothing like before I had the kids. I'll be praying for you!

Hi Kelli, the menopause do not stop after 12 months it continues but it gets better,I've been going through it now for 8 years....it only just started to feel better few months ago where my hot/cold flashes stop with a few symptoms Anixety on off but nothing like how I use to feel, but saying that my periods stop in January and slight bleed in April and stop again, but when I finally finish I can't say wether i will go back feeling like crap again
Im on another website the girls on there says it does not completely go away some people said it got worst others said better and others remain the same.

Becky, I am glad you mentioned this. Last month was the first time I've ever had cramps that Motrin didn't help. It was on day 3 of my period and I literally laid in the bed for 2 hours or leaned over the side of it in excruciating pain. Just like labor!!!and when it almost suddenly stopped, I was like where is that baby I just delivered? Lol??
I made an appt with GYN to see if he would give me something for pain..just to get through those. But I'm afraid he is going to want to do a hysto. Or something. Does it necessarily mean anything when you are cramping like that?
