Dangererous to poke tonsils?

I got angry about my swollen Tonsils which heals very slow. Out of curiosity i decided to touch both of my tonsils with my washed finger. Actually only my right tonsil was swollen, the left was pretty normal. I touched both so i can compare the feeling of the swollen and normal one. But after touching my normal left tonsil, it also started to feel weird. Like its irritated and bit swollen too.

Is it dangerous to touch around or touch the tonsil itself? I dont think so, because food constantly touches tonsils too. Maybe it got a bit irritated by my touch or some bacterias of my nail invaded it. But i think it makes not that much difference of a normal infection and both will heal either way, or? What do you think, im still a bit worried because i touched behind the tonsil? Like an unreachable area. So can you sooth me a bit and take my worries about whether its dangerous to otuch around tonsil or not? Is it that bad to otuch behind tonsil, maybe the becaterias get stuck behind it or something?
