Dark coloured fluid discharge after bowel movement

Hello Everyone

I'm really hoping someone can give some ideas and/or advice on something that happened this morning during a bowel movement. I do apologise in advance for the graphic description to follow.

I went for a bowel movement and everything was fine, my stool was it's usual consistency and was a normal brown colour, however immediately after this I noticed about 5 or 6 drops of dark brown fluid come from my anus. When I wiped I noticed that there was a small amount of red blood, and what seemed to be mucousy stool on the toilet tissue. My previous bowel movement was totally normal, but I have noticed a very slight cramping, nausea sensation that seems to be coming from all around my lower abdomen. Other than that I feel fine and have no other symptoms. I have been diagnosed with internal haemorrhoids following a colonoscopy a couple of years ago and when these flare up I usually experience what seems to be a lot of bright red blood after a bowel movement, but lately these have not been causing any problems. When I do bleed it is always on the stool, or drips from my anus, I never have blood mixed in with my stool.

Does any know what this dark liquid could be, or has anyone experienced similar? Any thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated. I have started an E-Consultation with my GP, but won't hear anything back from them for a few days, so any input from you guys would be welcome.

Many thanks in advance.
