You should be fine because you both have the same type of HSV. As a result you will have antibodies to it and cant catch it at a different site.

Shouldnt be a issue! you both have antibodies 😃

having antibodies doesnt stop the virus from reproducing and even moving to infect other organs (like herpes in eyes).the antibodies of herpes doesnt mean that our body is puting the virus under control, therefore it 2 people with hsv2 can infect eachothers orals

It doesnt stop the virus reproducing but it it can fight it when spread to another area The longer one has the virus the stronger the antibodies are which will neutralize the virus from attacking! Why do you think over time outbreaks and viral shedding decreases? Our immune systems become stronger against it through antibodies! Self inoculation is extremely rate after the first six months of developing the virus, so the idea of spreading it elsewhere is very slim! You have it genitally it wont flare up anywere else! HSV2 tends to stick around the boxer short area!

HSV 2 is extremely rare orally. Yes there is mucous membranes orally but its pretty inhabitable for HSV2!

They both have HSV 2 they cant give eachother more herpes then they already have!

      Go enjoy eachother! 😃
