hello,
D14, 9 months ago started symtoms of epigastric discomfort which turned into upper abd pain. she also started feeling early satiety and nausea every time she ate. Egd, abd us, and colonoscopy nagative. The pain and nausea has now led to a fear of eating, and a weight loss of 30lbs. My concern is this an eating disorder, or an undiagnosed medical condition? please help!

hi twinmo, there may be lots of different reasons why your daughter has nausea, but unless this is sorted out it will lead to an eating disorder and that will be rotten. i have nausea constantly and the only thing that helps is gaviscon as it's often lack of regular eating that causes the nausea. she needs something to calm and control the acid. this in turn will stop the nausea. keep her diet bland and monitor what makes it better or worse. then approach the doctors.
