Been completely off fentynal now three weeks.  Feeling so blessed and finding new ways to cope with pain.  I was up to 125 mcg at one time.  I took  almost nine months to get off.  Only withdrawal was tiredness and some nervous rocking the last two days.  Thank you all for your support.  I two was one of the forty percent that metabolized the patch every 48 hours. You can do this just be patient with yourself.  Praying for you all.

I used scotch tape and masked off a small portion of the patch every week.  It takes time and perseverance but I am free of fentynal after 8 to 9 months. I was on the patches 15 years.  I have been off three weeks now.  I went kayaking last week and swimming this weekend.  I have a life again.  I still have pain but doing physical therapy and using break thru medicines instead of doped on medicine and living on my couch.  I will pray for your success.  What type of pain are you fighting?

    Nasher -

How is the detox going? I'm finally down to 50 as of today after being on 100 for 11 years. It's not easy - irritable, anxious, shivering under the covers all the time, stomach really messed up, can't eat. But, I can't wait til I'm no longer a prisoner of this drug!!!!!!! Hang in the and let me know how you're doing.
