definitely such a shame how few there are.
I'd love to open one! It would be my happy place surrounded by specialists and helping women.
So glad we can turn to this forum
Let me know how you get on. After my appointments I'm going to ask for a referral too.
I was going to make an appointment with Dr Louise Newson last year. She is so expensive.
I've got one an hour away from me

hi Toria,
I hope you don't mind me messaging you. I find comfort in speaking to someone who actually understands my anxiety.
I had my scan today. I asked them if he could see any abnormalities in my ovaries he said no. But he's just the ultrasound person. Not sure how much they know. He focused a lot my abdomen area as that's where I was initially getting the pain. My right handside. Took loads of graphics. Just hoping it was fine.....as I had an endoscopy 5 months ago and showed gastritis! Hoping that's what he could see.
Anyway he left it by saying the results will be with the DR in the next 5-7 working days.
The gynecology department called me yesterday asking me to do another CA125 test and I should not do it while I'm bleeding.
they booked me in 2 weeks with a gynaecologist anyway.
Feel anxious about the scan now

i know how you feel trust me, our anxiety is that bad that even if we get negative results we question if the results are wrong, it sucks. if they saw anything they probably would of done an internal like me, when i got my results all it said was fibroid confirmed and they werent even going to call me, when i put through an e consult the gp made me wait 2 days then messaged and said (on a thursday) no slots left will ring you on tuesday, well i wouldnt take that as an answer and in the end one of my old doctors were covering (shes great) she rang me and actually said its most likely peri! after 14 months of the others telling me its just anxiety unbelievable!!! x

thanks....if he saw anything he wouldn't have said results will come through in the next 5 working days?
The DR said to me if it's urgent they usually say call your DR?
I just don't know what to think anymore. I feel so anxious after this

he said I have to do an internal as your DR has requested it. So when he was looking he say they look normal.
I just don't know anymore.

thanks....After a call from the DR saying its bad news! She's sent my anxiety through the roof.
thanks for your support x

when did she say that? x

On Monday. She said let's take a step one by one as a lot of women do get high CA125 results. A lot of the cases turn out to be noncanerous
So gynecology have sent me an appointment for next week. But they have ordered me to do another test as I should not be bleeding while taking the CA125 test. Also the ultrasound professional said he couldn't see anything.
All too much hence my anxiety of taking further scans and tests!
