Well this is day 14 of AD’s for me. I think my brain is adjusting to no anti depressants. Feeling a bit off. Still exercising and doing the acupuncture. Hope I feel better soon. Going to see my Dr tomorrow as she wanted to see me after 2 weeks of being off the pills. Have a great day everyone!!!!!’

I’m trying to come off too I’m down to 37.5mg and next step is 0mg what dose were you on ? How long did it take to come off and what were the side effects etc ? Did you go cold turkey from 37.5mg ?

Hi Carl. I was on 37.5 mg’s when I went off them 2 weeks ago. Right now I’m going through the Zaps. Pretty crappy but I want off these meds.  Some people try and taper off even 37.5 but my Dr told me to just quit as its a low dose. I can expect to have the zaps for 2 to 4 more weeks. Ur brain has to rewire itself so thats why it takes awhile. I will stick it out. I have other side effects such as sore stomach, weird feelings in my fingers and feelings of sore eyes like you get from allergies. But she told me today they will all pass. And I trust her!!!!  My other two Drs were not trustworthy. Just want to up ur dose all the time. Be prepared to have crappy days but you will get better. Watch what you eat and get plenty of exercise. And tell ur family or friends or whomever how you feel. You would be surprised at how supportive people can be. If they arent supportive then dont share with them. Good luck and I’m here if you need help. Trust in youreself and things will get better. Oh almost forgot. I have been trying meditation as well as going for acupuncture.

That’s good to hear because I absolutely hate being on these drugs I’ve been so bad and the side effects I’ve had being on them are sooo bad I’m just building up the courage to drop to zero now it’s pretty scary
