Day 20 on citalopram 10mg

Morning everyone,

Just wanted to say how much your posts are making me feel not alone - I'm on day 20 and the anxiety has really kicked in. Was exhausted last night and passed out asleep as soon as I hit the pillow but had that horrible 'light switch moment' in the early hours (I didn't check the time) and tossed and turned with butterflies in my stomach and restless legs ever since. Feel very weak and headachy, upset stomach and no appetite again and have to force myself to get ready for work. I know these are all side effects and it will get better but any encouragement anyone could give me would really help! Thanks and hope you all have a good day, Ali x

You weren't at all, it wasn't taken like that - thank you honestly! Mornings are always the worst but as the day goes on things get easier - you will be fine and so will I - just take each day as it comes and don't look back (that's what I try to do). No offence taken - we are in this together so stay in touch. Sending hugs back x

It's maybe just when the meds start to kick in until they're fully in our system? Let's look forward to this afternoon!
