Day 21 thoughts are back !!!!

Hi everyone

I have been on here several times,starting to feel a bit disappointed 😔 this evening everything is still going good with anxiety & depression but I'm totally dwelling on are the thoughts there or not it's a weird feeling because I'm not sure if they are going but I'm focused on them,does this sound normal am I expecting too much thanks for always reading my posts

    Hi katyf, I'm on week 11 and I feel the same. It's like the thoughts are not here, but they here at the same time. It's very strange. Almost like I can't fully let them go and enjoy life again.

      Yes that's what it's like,it worries me if people say you need to help yourself because then I think what if I can't does that mean they will never go

      You're preaching to the choir here lol. They just continue to be there just enough to make me feel a little bad. I hope we can get back to life without this crap one day😊

    Im only on wk 2 and i get it im not sure wat i feel or if its my own thoughts making me think i feel bad? Doesnt matter what i try to do i always end up thinking im not getting better i never amgoing to im getting worse...... the thoughts r driving me nuts

      That's very understandable the first few weeks do feel like that but don't give up you will see improvements soon,the first few weeks your not sure if they are working but I think that's normal to feel that way,we all just want to be better

    This is the part where you now need to do a bit of work, ots acct normal.

    its like if i tell you not to think of a pink elephant....

    whay do you go and do immedoatly? you think.of a pink.elephant !

    thats whats happening and the way to get passed this os to either think of a black cloth or if you belive in god, pray pray pray, ask god to keep.the whispers of the devil away from you..do good deeds and this will make you feel good. keeping busy in prayer , reading , adult colouring books,

    being around friends was good for me too.

    but above all keep busy and prayer.

    Wish I could wash all my thoughts out too! They make me very anxious! On Lexapro and I am sure it is not working as well as it did years ago! Think I need a change in medications!
