Day 34 on 150 mg

It's now day 34 since increasing from 100 to 150 and it was at the 4-week mark that I started to notice a significant difference in my anxiety and intrusive thoughts, for the better! The anxiety in the morning is to a minimal, I can now sleep without waking from anxiety, I'm starting to look forward to things again. I think my meds are finally starting to do their job!! I just wanted to post today for anyone who feels that they will never get back to their normal life again, just a little hope for you today. It takes time, but it does happen. Take care all you fellow anxiety fighters.

So glad you're in a good place. I'm on week 8 of 100mg and not really feeling it.

That is great news. Nice to hear a positive post. I'm on 50mg and I'm sure I will need to increase which scares me as im a panicker at the best of times and not good with meds. I started at 25 and had a few side effects but stuck with it. Went to 50 and had a few bad days but I can say there are more good days than bad. I still feel anxious but no where near as bad as before. So any encouragement to increase would be great as im sure my doc will tell me to increase as still having to take diazipam which I want to stop. Albeit 2mg and maybe only one a day.
Great to hear a positive story thankyou. X

Good news Vanessa
it's been 5 weeks for me
First two 100mg and 3 weeks at 150mg
I have sinusitis at the moment too which doesn't help as I can't fight the depression
Did you just start to feel better like yourself
As I'm shaking with anxiety everyday and can't wait for it to stop and depression lifting as no interest in my interests still
Thanks Julie xx

I've had a couple bad days since that post, although not near as bad as my first days. That tells me it's working. I'm now at 39 days and the anxiety is not even close to what it was. I still have the "butterflies" in my stomach quite often but I am getting better at thinking and believing I'm getting better, rather than thinking and believing I will never get better. Are you seeing any difference at all Julie?

I'm seeing a big difference but still not where I want to be. It's a very hard thing to overcome especially when you have a physical illness with it. You might need that extra 50 mg to get to your therapeutic spot.
